Sonja was born in Campbell River and spent a great deal of her childhood running through the woods on Stuart and Sonora Islands, perpetually in wonder of natures gifts. From here, developed a deep respect for native plants, medicinal plants and natural therapies.
The seed that was planted there, grew into an especially passionate interest in essential oils. Creating a small natural skin care business, specializing in massage oils, balms, soaps, and clay treatments. Generous amounts of beneficial fortifiers and the most ethically produced, pure, all - natural ingredients. The vast enjoyment of creating these products with her long standing, love of bodywork led her to holistic massage. Just recently, receiving a diploma from the Raynor School of Natural therapies.
As sweet balance massage will continue to evolve, Sonja is very grateful for the opportunity to work in such a beautiful community-minded building, sharing what she is most excited about.
